Purpose of the Position
Under the direction of the Chief of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, you will be responsible for timely editing and submission of reports to the respective donors in accordance with country programme and in adherence to set standards. You will ensure high quality of reports and proposals and in collaboration with programme sections and private sector fundraising team. You will develop and maintain a database of donors and funding and set strategic directions for successful fundraising with a broad set of donors. You will conduct research and develop advocacy materials for fundraising.

Key Expected Results
1. You will work with relevant programme section in the preparation of high quality funding proposals and donor reports by standardizing formats, contents and ensuring adherence to donor requirements. Provide quality assurance of reports and proposals.
2. You will conduct research and develop advocacy and fundraising information for UNICEF National Committees, government and other donors, including supportive Situation Analysis documents.
3. You will establish and maintain a donor proposal database to target fundraising against programme needs and to inform management on development, submission status of proposals and to monitor funding received and utilised.
4. You will provide training and technical assistance, as required, to programme staff to improve the overall quality and consistency proposals and reports.
5. You will support donor relations through information sharing and donor visit preparation and execution.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate
University degree in social sciences, communication, law, or other related field.
Two years of relevant work experience. Relevant UN or NGO experience an asset.
Versatility, judgment, maturity and the ability to work in a team.
Ability to cope with stressful and difficult conditions and political/cultural sensitivity and ability to work in international and multicultural environment.
Proven experience in implementing time limited projects. Knowledge and skills in computer management and application.
Excellent writing, research and analysis skills.
Fluency in English and another UN language, preferably Mandarin.
