Background / General description
Note: If the selected candidate is a current Bank Group staff member with a Regular or Open-Ended appointment, s/he will retain his/her Regular or Open-Ended appointment. All others will be offered a 2 year renewable term appointment.

Duties and Accountabilities
The incumbent, under close supervision and guidance of the Unit Chief, carries out the following duties and responsibilities: 1. Provides a full range of operational, secretary and administrative support/assistance in the implementation of the unit’s work program, including project development, implementation, supervision, procurement, etc; 2. Assists, as appropriate, in handling client relationship and functions as an important point of contact between the client & project team; 3. Identifies, reports or resolves diverse issues/problems as they arise, when often requires interpretation of existing procedures and processes; 4. Attends meetings, interprets as needed, drafts minutes and ensures timely clearance and distribution. 5. Assists/coordinates in preparation and logistical planning for various events, e.g. conferences, workshops, negotiations, mission visits, etc; 6. Coordinates schedules taking priorities into account, monitors changes, and communicates the information to appropriate staff, inside and outside the immediate work unit, including officials outside the Bank Group; 7. Participates in mission on field work as required; 8. Maintains up-to-date work unit project and other files (both paper and electronic); 9. Performs other duties as required by the Unit Chief; 10. Assists operations staff and prepare project documents as necessary.

# Ability to manage multi-task assignment and comfortable to work under high pressure environment Qualifications: College diploma with formal training in relevant fields(economic, finance, public/business administration, and other development fields). The incumbent must have excellent office management skills, and minimum of 3 years working experience. Previous assignment in a similar position would be desirable.
